August 23 Patch Notes

General Changes

  • Shields will no longer be visible when wearing a costume or full-body cosmetic.
  • We've fixed the display distance issue—it's now working just as it did before.
  • Drops that are shared among the party and/or nation (such as in Hau) will now drop if you're within range of the monster, rather than needing to be near the player who landed the killing blow.
  • Teleporting via NPCs will now cancel any active teleport timers.
  • Fixed a visual bug where Tribe experience displayed incorrectly after Tribe Level 1.
  • Rampao Temple Floor 1 will now only spawn 2 non-boss Fire Summons (down from 3).
  • Hau Assassins now have 10% less attack power and deal 20% less absolute damage.
  • The in-game "Character Info" help guide now includes information on the Restat NPC (Erma, in Ladianes).

 

Delphiroth Changes

  • With the random server crashes fixed, we've re-enabled the leashing distance for boss monsters on all Delphiroth floors.
  • Health and experience for any [Resource] monsters on any Delphiroth floor have been halved.

 

Catastropha Cavern

We've made the following adjustments to Catastropha Cavern to make it more accessible for groups of 1-3 players to tackle normal and boss monsters, while also accommodating for a larger amount of players to be farming:

  • All monsters now have health equal to 17 times that of their Delphiroth Floor 5 counterparts (2x higher health, and then an extra 8.5x for vice weapon damage).
  • The defense and attack power of monsters remain unchanged.
  • Enhanced Vice Weapons now deal 100% more damage per stat level, capping at 1000% (previously 85% and 850%).
  • All monsters now grant 3 times the experience of their Delphiroth Floor 5 counterparts.
  • Boss monsters now have leashing distances; normal monsters do not.
  • All boss monsters now have a chance to drop both Desaus and Hosans (previously, only specific bosses dropped these items).
  • Drop rates for all monsters have been adjusted to reflect changes in respawn timers.
    • The drop rate of Sephiroth Jewelry from normal monsters has been increased by 50% (instead of reduced).
    • We've worked hard to ensure that the overall amount of loot a player might find during an event remains consistent with the previous setup. However, this was a complex adjustment, given the significant differences between the old and new structures.
    • Mathematically, these new rates result in approximately 15% more overall Sephiroth Jewelry per player (around 7-10 more sephiroth jewelry per event), though actual numbers will depend on player performance.
    • We'll be monitoring player feedback closely to determine if these new rates are too high or too low and will adjust accordingly.
  • Respawn Timers for All Monsters
    • Normal Monsters: 30 Seconds
    • Boss Monsters: 2 Minutes
    • Egg Monsters: 3 Minutes

 

August 24 Patch Notes

  • General Changes
    • Season characters now receive the following pet experience buffs:
      • Active Subscription: 100% (remains 20% for non-season characters)
      • Nation War Winner: 100% (remains 20% for non-season characters)
      • Season Character: 100%
  • Catastropha Cavern
    • All Catastropha Cavern monsters health has been increased by 50%.
    • The drop rate of Sephiroth Jewelry from normal Catastropha Cavern  monsters has been reduced.
    • The drop rate and quantity of Corrupt Orbs from normal Catastropha Cavern  monsters have been reduced.
    • The drop rate of Sephiroth Jewelry from boss Catastropha Cavern monsters has been increased.
